Crew members have the ability to inter-communicate, whilst leaving their hands free to perform other tasks. Any incoming radio traffic will be heard by all crew members. The first crew member to PTT the radio has access to talk back over the radio. While the radio is keyed, other mics are disabled to prevent unwanted / unauthorized radio traffic. The VOS greatly reduces unwanted noise when no speech is present. Additional ANR headsets provide a noise-free environment for clear commands and reports. |

Active Noise Reduction is included for noisy environments such as within an Armoured fighting vehicle. The design is primarily for radio and intercom communication crews of military vehicles but also finds applications in industrial and security markets. The prime noise-cancelling features are close-fitting, full-ear cups, double noise-cancelling microphone and integrated ANR circuitry. |
